Job summary

HCVT, a Denver-based firm, is seeking an MBA intern to support strategic technology and business transformation engagements for middle-market and private equity-backed clients. You will gain hands-on exposure to technology strategy, ERP implementation, data analytics, AI and automation, and process improvement.

Working with experienced consultants, you will assess business challenges, develop recommendations, and contribute to transformation roadmaps and client deliverables.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology transformation or management consulting.
• Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives or process improvements.
• Familiarity with ERP, data analytics, AI or automation initiatives.
• Interest in transitioning into consulting.

Responsibilities

• Support technology and business transformation engagements by analyzing client operations, business processes, and technology environments to identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in client interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to understand business needs, challenges, and objectives.
• Conduct research and analysis to evaluate potential solutions and support the development of recommendations.
• Assist in developing technology strategies, business cases, transformation roadmaps, and implementation plans.
• Support ERP evaluations, system selection, and technology implementation activities, including requirements gathering, solution evaluation, and process design.
• Research and assess opportunities for AI, automation, data analytics, and process optimization.
• Prepare client presentations, reports, and other deliverables that communicate findings, insights, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with engagement teams to support project execution, monitor progress, and address project challenges.
• Contribute to internal practice development initiatives, including research, methodologies, and proposal development.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to strengthen consulting, analytical, and technical skills.
