Job summary

DEFENSEWERX-ERDCWERX in Vicksburg, Mississippi seeks a part-time team member for 26 hours per week, reporting to the EWX Commercialization Manager. This role helps strengthen industry-to-government relationships to promote tech transfer with the US Army ERDC.

Responsibilities include market research, outreach via email, phone and LinkedIn, CRM usage, coordinating with APEX accelerators, and supporting marketing strategies and webinars.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in marketing, business, communications, economic development, or related field.
• Five years of experience in marketing, business development, sales, economic development, customer engagement, or related functions preferred.
• Must pass a background check and be able to obtain DOW security clearance or ITAR license.

Responsibilities

• Establish familiarity with ERDC IP available for commercialization.
• Research market/industry applications of ERDC IP.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and commercialization pathways.
• Identify target companies and conduct due diligence on tech transfer opportunities.
