Job summary

PDI is seeking a Technology Transfer Manager to lead the day-to-day execution of technology transfer and process engineering activities supporting new product commercialization and scale-up.

You will manage cross-functional teams across R&D, engineering, quality, and manufacturing to ensure smooth handoffs, robust documentation, and timely project delivery. This role emphasizes leadership, readiness, and continuous improvement within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science is required; a master's degree is preferred for advanced roles.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in technology transfer, process engineering, or related fields.
• Strong project management and cross-functional execution skills with engineering leadership experience.
• Experience leading technology transfer activities and manufacturing readiness initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day technology transfer for internal scale-up and external transfers.
• Develop transfer plans, timelines, risk assessments, action registers, and transfer reports.
• Drive change controls and deliverables for new products and process changes.
• Coordinate handoffs between development and manufacturing with issue resolution.
• Coach and develop the Process Engineer and prioritize engineering work.
