Job summary

PDI is seeking a Sr. Manager, Technology Transfer & Site Readiness to lead technology transfer, process engineering, and engineering-readiness activities for new products and capabilities.

The role oversees cross-functional teams from R&D through manufacturing, ensuring seamless transfer and handoff to operations while meeting safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical discipline.
• Preferred Master’s Degree or advanced technical/business degree; relevant project-management or engineering certification.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment with FDA/GMP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technology Transfer teams across R&D, Analytical, Packaging Development, Formulation Development, Quality, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Supply Planning, and other functions as required.
• Drive transfer of products and processes from development into Manufacturing Operations while meeting safety, quality, regulatory, commercialization, and business requirements.
• Provide oversight, direction, and development to Technology Transfer personnel and drive resolution of technical or cross-functional issues affecting transfer timelines and manufacturing readiness.
• Lead Process Engineering activities supporting existing operations, new products, new equipment, and site-expansion initiatives.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to Process Engineers and other assigned technical resources.
• Translate product/process requirements into equipment, facility, utilities, automation, and operating requirements.
• Support equipment specifications, layouts, and vendor evaluations.
• Identify engineering-readiness gaps, technical risks, and drive resolution.
