Job summary

The Center for Constitutional Rights seeks a Technology Director to lead and strengthen its technology function in support of our justice-focused mission. Reporting to the COO, you will balance strategic vision with hands-on expertise in cybersecurity, infrastructure, and IT operations, while mentoring a small team and aligning solutions with staff needs.

Qualifications

10+ years leading technology functions, including strategic planning and hands-on execution.
Experience mentoring and developing teams in hybrid environments.
Strong background in IT infrastructure, systems management, and enterprise applications.
Deep knowledge of cybersecurity, risk assessment, and data privacy practices.
Proven ability to translate complex concepts for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team with a focus on collaboration and accountability.
Set technology strategy in partnership with the COO and align with organizational priorities.
Oversee daily IT operations, cybersecurity, data privacy, and risk management.
Improve documentation, processes, and system adoption across the organization.
Manage vendor relationships and cross-functional technology initiatives.
