Job summary

Amdocs is seeking an experienced Category Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives and manage a team of sourcing managers supporting a large-scale technology transformation program. The role drives supplier strategy, technology sourcing, contract management, procurement operations, and stakeholder engagement.

The candidate will lead RFx processes, negotiate with suppliers, and manage vendor governance while delivering commercial value and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Category Management.
• Experience managing procurement projects and cross-functional stakeholder environments.
• Strong project management and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Good understanding of the Central American and local supplier market.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Sourcing Managers across technology-related categories.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Service integrators, Hardware, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Managed Services.
• Lead RFx processes, supplier negotiations, and contract management activities.
• Manage vendor relationships and governance frameworks.
• Support procurement operations, reporting, spend analysis, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Partner with business, technology, finance, and executive stakeholders within a matrix organization.
• Drive project delivery and sourcing workstreams for transformation initiatives.
• Perform commercial analysis and support P&L improvement opportunities.
