Job summary

Bloomberg Industry Group in Washington, DC seeks a technology and product expert focused on clients, sales and product to drive revenue and retention. You will translate client workflows into technical requirements and collaborate with sales and service teams to propose innovative INDG solutions.

You will partner with clients to understand business needs, develop technology-enabled workflows, support the pre-sales process, and travel to client sites as needed to present proposals and plans.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technology advisory, tax, accounting, or finance, or in information systems/software development.
• Proven track record in pre-sales consulting or advisory services to clients.
• Familiarity with tax, accounting, or legal workflows and INDG products.
• Knowledge of a wide range of technology solutions and tools.
• Experience with data transformation tools (ETL, Excel, Alteryx, SQL) for data manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Qualify opportunities to align client requirements with business needs.
• Support strategy and discovery calls; provide technology and product knowledge during sales cycles.
• Build relationships across internal teams to improve productivity and revenue.
• Help innovate and improve demonstrations and presentations.
• Translate client business processes into technical requirements for implementation teams.
• Develop proposals and assist project managers with client plans.
