Allied Universal in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Security Officer - Access Documentation to monitor facilities, support access control, and deliver professional customer service. You will perform patrols, deter incidents, and communicate with visitors and staff, ensuring safety and compliance across multiple tech/telecom environments.

The role emphasizes responsiveness, documentation of incidents, and collaboration with the site team to maintain a secure, welcoming workplace.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation as per laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations, document observations, and escalate concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and access points.
• Monitor access activity and visitor entry, deter unauthorized access, report irregularities.
• Communicate clearly with employees, visitors, contractors, and leadership.
