Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Spartanburg, SC. You will monitor areas, conduct patrols, and assist with access control while delivering excellent customer service at a technology, media, and telecommunications site.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and the ability to obtain background checks and drug screening as per law.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of business areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
