Job summary

Synchron, LLC seeks a Technology Security & Foreign Disclosure Subject Matter Expert to support Team Submarine at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. You will advise Navy program offices on TSFD policy, international agreements, compliance, case development, and export control.

You will directly support international submarine and undersea warfare programs, coordinating with USA/foreign partners and ensuring disclosures stay within authorized limits.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years serving as a Foreign Disclosure Officer (FDO) or equivalent TSFD role.
• Experience advising Navy program offices on TSFD and export control policy.
• Ability to produce auditable records of disclosure decisions and actions.

Responsibilities

• Provide authoritative determinations on release of classified/controlled data.
• Conduct case-by-case disclosure reviews of technical data and briefings.
• Maintain auditable TSFD records including rationale and conditions.
• Train and guide Contact Officers on TSFD policy and disclosure limits.
• Oversee foreign visit requests and engagement with foreign personnel.
