Job summary

Verizon Communications is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate. The role focuses on growing sales in a store environment, delivering exceptional customer service, and identifying customer needs to recommend top-down tech solutions.

In addition to base pay, you can earn commissions based on sales performance, with opportunities to earn strong incentives and travel-based rewards as part of a total rewards package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule known four weeks in advance).
• Openness to pick up additional shifts during peak periods to earn more income.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service.
• Learn customers’ needs by building connections and asking questions.
• Position product insights and solutions to provide a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales with effective communication to meet customer needs.
• Participate in training and develop skills across merchandising and inventory.
• Engage with customers off-site at Verizon-sponsored events when applicable.
