Job summary

Verizon Communications is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate to grow sales and deliver exceptional customer service in-store. You will uncover customer needs, present complete tech solutions, and close sales with strong communication.

Training will continue to elevate your skills, with opportunities to engage the community and expand your customer base through events and outreach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience demonstrated through work or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule known four weeks in advance).
• Experience in a commission-based environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales using passion for tech and strong customer service.
• Learn customer needs by connecting with them and asking questions.
• Recommend product insights and complete top-down sales solutions.
• Close sales with clear communication and customer-focused solutions.
• Grow through ongoing training and adapt merchandising/inventory skills.
• Possibly grow client base via outbound calls and texts to Verizon customers.
• Engage with the community at off-site Verizon events to expand loyalty.
