Job summary

Verizon is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate in Council Bluffs, IA. You will join a team focused on unlocking your potential and achieving sales success in a retail setting. Your role centers on understanding customer needs and delivering top-quality service with the latest technology.

You will earn $16.00 to $21.00 per hour in base pay, plus up to $18,000 per year in commissions if sales targets are met. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Open to pick up additional shifts during peak periods.
• Experience in a commission-based environment.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for technology and customer service to grow the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by building connections and asking questions.
• Position product insights and recommendations for a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales with strong communication to meet customer needs with simple tech solutions.
• Develop yourself through ongoing training and cross-functional operational exposure in merchandising and inventory.
• Engage current Verizon customers with outbound calls/texts and expand your base at community events.
