Crowell & Moring seeks a mid-level associate to join our Intellectual Property practice in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco or Washington, DC. The firm offers a collaborative environment and challenging patent litigation matters across diverse industries.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of federal court patent litigation experience, a degree in CS/CE/EE or related field, and bar admission or waiver eligibility. Hands-on coding is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of patent litigation experience in federal courts.
• Drafting pleadings, motions and briefs; managing discovery.
• Strong academic credentials and analytical skills.
• Bar admission in good standing or eligibility by waiver.
• Hands-on coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and participate in depositions and other phases of litigation.
• Draft pleadings, motions and briefs and manage written discovery.
• Collaborate with clients across industries on IP matters.
