Job summary

Dairy-Farmers-of-America,-Inc. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to perform planned and unplanned repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment in a dairy manufacturing environment.

You will work with limited supervision, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems, and support installation of new equipment while keeping safety and GMP standards. This role includes competitive pay, benefits starting after the start date, paid vacation and holidays, and clear

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Trade/technical schooling in electrical, PLC/HMI, mechanical, welding, refrigeration, plumbing, or related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of maintenance, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, or HVAC experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and/or repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment and related systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, manuals, and work orders.
  • Assist with installation of new equipment and training of operators.
  • Document repairs and maintain required paperwork per SOPs.
  • Maintain safety and GMP compliance and help identify process improvements.
