Job summary

U-Haul of East Orange is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service team. You will assist customers, dispatch and return equipment using U-Scan technology, and help with vehicle hookups and inspections.

This part-time role emphasizes hands-on training and growth within a supportive team, with a pay range featured and access to company benefits and development programs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Sell and schedule hitches and wiring kits.
• Other duties as assigned
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
