Job summary

Chubb is seeking a highly motivated Commercial Lines Technology Underwriter to join our technology practice. You will focus on Package, Umbrella, Workers Compensation, Automobile and International coverages across diverse customer types.

You will underwrite new technology accounts in the Mid-Atlantic region, maintain broker relationships, and drive portfolio performance with cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes risk assessment, pricing, and high-quality submissions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial lines underwriting experience preferred.
• Technology underwriting experience a plus.
• Proven written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and complex analyses.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new technology accounts and assess risk exposures.
• Develop and maintain broker/agent relationships to generate new business.
• Manage renewal cycles for technology policies including pricing/terms.
• Analyze loss data, market trends, and underwriting guidelines.
• Prepare clear underwriting submissions and policy documents.
• Mentor junior underwriters and report key metrics to leadership.
