Job summary

Batteries Plus is hiring for a Retail Sales Associate, including a Management Trainee career track. Earn $21.00–$25.00 per hour with a guaranteed base for the first 6 months, plus weekend differential and incentive pay.

Training starts immediately, no prior product knowledge required, and you’ll learn battery installation and repairs. The role involves customer service, sales, merchandising, and routine store duties.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of the store's products

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, ask questions, and determine needs
• Provide a complete solution to customers
• Operate a technology-based Point of Sale system to complete sales transactions
• Inbound phone sales/service
• Install large and small batteries in various devices
• Disassemble / reassemble phones and tablets to complete repairs
• Function as a team player
• Inventory stock maintenance and management
• Ship and deliver to commercial accounts
• Maintain a clean and full store appearance
• Build displays to better market seasonal products
• Prepare the store for daily opening and closing
