Job summary

SV Academy is seeking a Business Development Representative in Durham, NC. This full-time role includes free sales training, a 90-day paid Residency at a partner company, and a clear path to a long-term sales role with SV Academy's 400+ partners.

Cohorts begin weekly; 25 residents per cohort. Compensation includes a paid residency and, after transfer, $55k–$85k total annual compensation with full benefits. Hybrid work in Durham, NC is offered.

Qualifications

• English proficiency sufficient for professional work communication.
• Permanently authorized to work in the United States without need for future sponsorship.
• Completed Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in customer-facing or sales roles is a plus.
• Comfortable with hybrid/remote collaboration and fast-paced targets.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify leads via outbound calls, email, and LinkedIn.
• Schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives and move opportunities through the funnel.
• Collaborate with SV Academy mentors and partner company sales teams for coaching.
• Learn and apply B2B sales techniques and CRM tools.
