Job summary

Verizon Retail is seeking a full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate to grow career and sales success in one of our retail stores. You’ll engage customers, learn needs, recommend solutions, and close sales with strong communication.

You’ll train continuously, expand your customer base, and may perform outbound calls and community engagements. Base pay ranges $16.00–$21.00 per hour, with up to $18,000 yearly commissions; top performers can reach $65,000–$75,500 annually, depending on geography

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One or more years of relevant experience preferred.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a four-week schedule lead time.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by leveraging passion for technology and customer service.
• Learn customer needs by asking questions and building connections.
• Recommend product insights and provide top-down solutions to customers.
• Close sales with strong communication to fulfill needs with simple tech solutions.
• Participate in ongoing training and up-sell in merchandising and inventory.
• Engage current Verizon customers via outbound calls and texts to grow the customer base.
• Represent Verizon at off-site events to expand the loyal customer base.
