The elite international law firm is seeking a midlevel associate (3-6 years) to join its Litigation & Regulatory Investigations team in San Francisco or New York. The role centers on technology, content moderation, platform governance and AI regulation within high-stakes investigations and enforcement matters.

The successful candidate will conduct legal research, draft memoranda and briefs, manage significant workstreams, and collaborate with attorneys across offices on sophisticated technology

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school (must be admitted or eligible for admission)
• 3–6 years of litigation, investigations, or regulatory enforcement experience
• Experience handling technology-focused investigations or regulatory matters
• Strong academic credentials and excellent research, analytical, and writing skills
• Strong client management and project leadership abilities

Responsibilities

• Represent technology companies in litigation, regulatory investigations, and enforcement matters
• Advise on content moderation, platform governance, and AI regulation issues
• Conduct legal research and analysis on emerging technology laws and regulations
• Draft memoranda, briefs, client advisories, and regulatory submissions
• Manage significant workstreams in investigations and litigation matters
• Engage with clients and collaborate with matter teams across offices
• Monitor evolving regulatory developments affecting technology platforms and AI systems
