Job summary

Gibson Electric, a Downers Grove, IL-based electrical construction firm, seeks a Technology Project Manager to oversee electrical/low-voltage construction projects, support PM staff, and attract new business opportunities for the technologies division.

Responsibilities include managing budgets, schedules, and coordination with clients, architects, engineers, and trades to meet critical path deadlines. A strong PM background and knowledge of low-voltage systems are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years PM experience in low-voltage, cabling, or telecom.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with BICSI standards (ITSIMM/TDMM/OSPDRM).
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project contracts, deadlines, and staffing.
• Manage materials, purchasing, change orders, and cost tracking.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and trades to meet critical path.
• Prepare new project estimates for small jobs under supervision.
