Job summary

Torch Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager – Technical to join a team supporting Agile software development in Huntsville, AL.

You will coordinate with developers, the developer lead, scrum master, and test lead to set priorities, manage schedules, refine backlogs, and deliver software releases. Responsibilities include briefing status, tracking deliverables, and maintaining project documentation.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required.
Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Business, Engineering, or a related degree or equivalent experience.
2 years Project Management experience.
1+ years experience as product owner, scrum master, PM, or equivalent.
Ability to obtain DoW Secret security clearance.
Fluency with the Microsoft Office toolset.
Solid understanding of Agile software development and Scrum principles.
Ability to create schedules, prioritize and refine backlog, meet deadlines, and maintain steady pace.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with software developers, developer lead, scrum master, and test lead to establish priorities.
Track deliverables, create long-term schedules, translate requirements into work items, prioritize backlog.
Attend team Scrum meetings (standups, planning, reviews).
Identify roadblocks and inefficiencies, improve processes and tools.
Assist with release packages and project documentation.
