Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager in Huntsville, AL to lead complex manufacturing projects from concept to final implementation. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams across Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Suppliers to deliver hardware solutions for commercial, aerospace, and defense applications.

The role requires a engineering/business background, 5+ years of project management experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related project management experience in mechanical manufacturing or related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoW clearance (Secret/TS/TS‑SCI as required).
• Experience estimating labor and materials for manufacturing projects.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical instructions.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or equivalent project‑management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and execute complex manufacturing projects from concept through final implementation.
• Work within cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Quality, and Suppliers.
• Develop and produce hardware solutions for commercial, aerospace, and defense applications.
• Manage overall project execution including customer interface, technical estimating, IMS development, and final delivery.
