Job summary

Capital One in McLean, VA is seeking a passionate Program Manager to shape and evolve two Tech-wide programs. You will be the strategic lead and program owner for our Tech-wide recognition and enablement programs, guiding a high-output team to drive program impact.

Responsibilities include setting programming strategy with stakeholders, defining KPIs, shaping future programming based on industry trends, and partnering with Communications, Design, and Tech teams to maximize success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
• At least 8 years of Project Management experience
• At least 2 years of people management experience
• MBA preferred; 9+ years PM experience preferred; 3+ years people management preferred
• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead Programming Strategy & Insights: drive overarching program strategy, operational planning, and KPI definitions.
• Architect business, tech, and associate insights; establish North Star metrics to understand program impact.
• Shape future programming by benchmarking competitors, industry trends, and creating scalable frameworks.
• Oversee End-to-End Experience: develop scalable processes, tracking tools, and governance for both programs; maximize impact.
• Strengthen partner frameworks with Comms, Design, Tech Divisional Support, Immerse Platform Engineers; drive collaboration.
• Mentorship and People Leadership: lead and develop a diverse associate team; foster collaboration and decision-driven execution.
