Rocket Homes Real Estate LLC is seeking a Procurement Technology Category Manager in Detroit to lead day‑to‑day sourcing for technology spend, including software, hardware, and related professional services.

You will partner with IT, Security, Engineering, and business units to shape requirements, negotiate favorable terms, and manage contracts from initiation to renewal, while driving cost‑saving strategies and ensuring policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5 years of procurement, category management, sourcing, or vendor management experience, especially with technology categories.
• Proven contract negotiation and vendor relationship management experience.
• Strong pricing, terms, and total cost of ownership analysis skills.
• Familiarity with requisition‑to‑PO, sourcing events, and contract lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and non‑technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day sourcing for the technology category, including RFPs, RFQs, and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with IT, Security, Engineering, and business units to translate needs into sourcing requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and SLAs with technology vendors with senior leadership support as needed.
• Track a pipeline of open requisitions and contracts through approval, negotiation, and execution.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to support pricing and vendor selection decisions.
• Support vendor performance reviews, renewal planning, and cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policy and contract standards, maintaining accurate sourcing documentation.
