Job summary

Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Public Relations Associate to bolster its presence in North America through storytelling and media coverage. You will track and report on content while working cross-functionally with internal teams and PR agencies to deliver compelling narratives.

The role focuses on data storage and broader data lifecycle solutions across hardware, software and services. Remote work is available within a global, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience supporting public relations programs; in-house and/or agency experience.
• Experience in global B2B technology, software and services is a plus.
• Strong writer and storyteller able to craft messaging for press materials and blogs.
• Knowledge of technology and data trends to respond quickly to breaking events.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive PR programs for technology, infrastructure and partner media in North America.
• Cultivate relationships with technology and channel media outlets.
• Create content for press releases, messaging docs, FAQs, blogs and bylines.
• Collaborate with product, revenue marketing, exec communications and agency partners.
• Work with PR agencies to develop media strategies and execute programs.
