Job summary

Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Public Relations Associate to bolster our presence in North America. This role focuses on storytelling, media coverage, and coordinating content with internal teams and PR agencies to deliver results across our data-centric hardware, software, and services portfolio.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Communications, the position is remote and offers opportunities to shape external narratives around AI-enabled data storage initiatives and broader data

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in public relations programs (in-house or agency)
• Experience in global B2B technology, software or services is a plus
• Strong writing and storytelling for press releases, blogs, and bylines
• Ability to respond quickly to breaking situations with messaging for external media
• Calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment with good judgment

Responsibilities

• Drive Hitachi Vantara's PR programs for technology, infrastructure and partner media focus on North America
• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with technology and channel partner media
• Develop content for press releases, messaging documents, FAQs, blogs, byline articles, and presentations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to proactively engage on communications content and media opportunities
• Work with PR agency partners to develop media strategies and execute elements of the program
