Job summary

ChicagoCAC is seeking a Technology Operations Manager to own business applications and the MSP portfolio, including BAAs under HIPAA. You will serve as a technical resource to Chiefs, advance IT goals, and lead initiatives from requirements to go-live.

Responsibilities include vendor management, MSP coordination, system ownership of the case management platform, and maintaining IT asset inventories. Strong preference for IT leadership and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience administering business applications; 5 years preferred.
• 2+ years leading technology implementations or initiatives from requirements through go-live.
• 2+ years managing vendor relationships, including service levels and contract renewals.
• Experience with a case management platform preferred.
• Experience mapping data flows between systems and coordinating vendor-built integrations.
• Microsoft 365 administration experience, including Teams, SharePoint, and Power Automate.
• Experience maintaining IT asset inventories and equipment refresh plans.
• Certifications preferred: ITIL 4 Foundation, CompTIA Project+ or PMI CAPM, IAPP CIPP/US or AHIMA CHPS.

Responsibilities

• Serve as system owner and administrator for the case management system, including configuration, user roles, workflows, forms, site structure, and permissions.
• Manage user access to business applications with the MSP and conduct periodic access/audit-log reviews.
• Maintain the business application inventory, including PHI status and integrations.
• Serve as technical resource to Chiefs for business systems their functions own (e.g., ADP).
• Facilitate response to business application incidents per ChicagoCAC’s procedures.
• Lead assigned technology initiatives from requirements through go-live.
• Maintain the central register of technology vendors and contracts; manage BAAs.
• Coordinate MSP service delivery and ensure security functions with status reporting.
• Draft equipment refresh cadence policy and annual budget; direct MSP on procurement.
• Assess technology portfolio annually and recommend tools to adopt, replace, or retire.
• Report IT health metrics quarterly.
