Sierra Medical Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic studies. You will perform nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of the medical director and department director, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities include documenting orders, corroborating clinical history, applying ALARA principles to minimize exposure, and performing venipuncture as needed.

Job summary: Under the supervision of the diagnostic imaging services medical director and department director, the nuclear medicine technologist is responsible for preparing, measuring and administering radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic studies per specific physician orders and department policies and procedures. Performs and assists with nuclear medicine studies. Is responsible for patient safety protocols. Maintains all federal, state, local and regulatory agency requirements. Participates in CQI activities.
