EnCompass Iowa, L.L.C. is seeking a marketing intern to learn how IT services are described to clients and how to create accurate, confident content.

The role helps you understand the company’s services and how to communicate them clearly to non-technical audiences. You will work with the marketing team to generate social posts, website copy, and materials that explain cybersecurity, remote monitoring, and automation in simple terms.

Qualifications

• College or University: Coe, Cornell, Kirkwood, or Mount Mercy.
• Grade: Junior or Senior.
• Majors: Business, Economics, or Marketing.
• Motivational Assessment: Achievement or Affiliation.
• Personality Assessment: Adapted I and Natural I.
• Sales Assessment: Top Sales Performers.
• Summer Internship: June 1st - July 31st, 9 Weeks, 30 Hours Week, $14.50 Hour.

Responsibilities

• Describe services correctly in marketing materials and client-facing content.
• Understand EnCompass value to clients and avoid technical confusion with staff.
• Develop social posts, website copy, and marketing explanations for non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with engineers and leadership to translate technical concepts into customer-friendly messaging.
• Support product marketing and content strategy initiatives.
