Job summary

Citizens Bank seeks an ambitious Investment Banking Analyst III to join our San Francisco team, supporting origination and execution across equity, debt, and M&A with a technology focus. You will perform financial analysis, build models, and prepare client materials for meetings with healthcare, technology, and real estate/gaming & lodging clients.

The role offers exposure to senior bankers, a collaborative environment, and a competitive compensation package including a discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of direct investment banking or transaction-related financial experience.
• Industry knowledge and transaction experience within healthcare/technology is strongly preferred.
• Skills with the ability to express ideas in a persuasive, organized, and articulate manner.
• Ability to function as part of a flat organization, manage several projects at once and work effectively as an individual and as part of multiple teams.
• Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis with a solid understanding of financial statements, financial modeling and company or industry analysis.
• Self-starting team player who can think strategically and excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, challenging work environment.
• High degree of maturity and integrity with a positive and hardworking attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Full command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with related financial services software including S&P CapitalIQ, S&P Leveraged Commentary, Advantage Data, Bloomberg, Thomson One, Thomson Loan Pricing Connector, FactSet, etc.

Responsibilities

• Financial analysis and modeling, industry and company research, and coordination of financing or sale processes.
• Preparation of pitch materials, client presentations, offering memoranda, proposals, and other written materials for meetings with clientele.
• Collaborate with senior bankers and interact with current and prospective clients across healthcare, technology, and real estate/gaming & lodging sectors.
