Job summary

Tandem Search is seeking an Associate 0/1 to join the Tech team in San Francisco. The successful candidate will work on M&A and capital markets transactions, gaining exposure to multiple tech sub-sectors and senior bankers within a well-established international bank.

Ideal candidates have 3-4 years of investment banking experience with strong LBO, DCF and merger modelling skills, and a proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Job description

I am working with a leading international middle market investment bank, which is looking to add an Associate 0/1 into their Tech team in San Francisco. The platform has grown massively over the last couple of years and is experiencing very good deal flow across M&A as well as capital markets. The Tech IB team itself is made up of about 50 people across New York and San Francisco. The sub-sectors within Tech that the team covers are software, internet, hardware, fintech, tech-enabled services and industrial tech. The Associate joining would be sector generalists and would get great exposure to all sub-sectors across product groups with some lean towards M&A.

The successful candidates would have a strong investment banking M&A experience. Tech sector experience would also be needed. The successful candidate would in return enjoy great deal flow exposure, a stable team and a well-established name.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execution of M&A transactions, including financial modelling and valuation
• Preparation of client materials (pitchbooks, CIMs, board presentations)
• Managing diligence processes and coordinating with clients and counterparties
• Managing and mentoring Analysts
