Job summary

Vanguard’s Technology Leadership Program is a two-year rotational development track designed for graduating students ready to begin a technology career. Participants complete three eight-month rotations across IT teams, gaining exposure to diverse technologies and business areas while building leadership and collaboration skills.

In this program you will design, build, and enhance applications that power Vanguard's internal systems and client platforms, using cloud, APIs, and full-stack

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, or related technical/engineering subject matter.
• Strong interest in application development (web, mobile, backend).
• Familiarity with Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Demonstrated leadership skills or aspirations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• GPA of 3.2+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance applications that support Vanguard's internal systems and client-facing platforms.
• Develop scalable solutions using cloud, APIs, and full-stack development.
• Take ownership of projects and contribute to high-impact outcomes for the business.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, product teams, and business partners.
• Apply Agile methodologies to deliver solutions in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
• Participate in technical capstones, hackathons, and innovation initiatives.
• Build relationships with peers, mentors, and leaders across Vanguard.
