Ramp is seeking a Production Engineering Tech Lead & Manager to own and drive highly reliable infrastructure across compute, storage, messaging, and observability. You will lead a hands-on, player-coach team, setting direction, mentoring engineers, and delivering impactful outcomes at scale.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Staff+-level technical leadership with experience delivering cross-functional initiatives.
• Hands-on engineering with production code responsibility.
• Mentoring and developing engineers across teams.
• Strong observability, reliability practices, and SRE mindset.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred).
• Familiarity with AI tooling and scalable infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

• Build, coach, and grow a high-performing team.
• Set technical direction for your team’s domain.
• Build and operate critical infrastructure across Ramp's compute, storage, messaging, and observability stack.
• Drive architectural change and own the path forward when issues arise.
• Partner with product teams during design to embed golden paths and avoid rework.
• Scale Ramp's infrastructure with cellular architecture for international expansion and regulated environments.
• Enable AI-native engineering and AI tooling within the platform.
• Develop developer tooling and self-service infrastructure for cost, performance, and reliability visibility.
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive root-cause analysis to completion.
• Lead cross-team architectural reviews and ownership of company-wide reliability initiatives.
