Cardiff, a forward‑looking fintech tech firm, seeks a senior engineering leader to run the department and deliver on aggressive AI‑driven product goals. You will own delivery cadence, team health, and vendor relationships while shaping a scalable, production‑grade platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building production software, with a proven delivery track record.
• 3+ years managing engineers directly, including performance and growth.
• Experience designing and running agent-based systems in production.

Responsibilities

• Run planning and prioritization with department heads.
• Provide proactive status updates on delivery dates.
• Design and operate agent systems with orchestration loops and graph retrieval.
• Review code and stay close to production to ensure quality.
• Manage offshore and contract developers to the same standard as in‑house team.
• Build against our stack: Salesforce, Snowflake, Gmail, Zoom, Slack, Twilio.
• Make AI tooling the department’s default building approach.
