Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years’ post‑secondary education or relevant work experience.
• Strong experience with Python, AI/ML concepts, and API-enabled systems.
• Experience with search/retrieval platforms and metadata pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, React/NextJS and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural decisions and technical design across Collections Explorer and related initiatives.
• Guide implementation, integration, and production readiness of AI-enabled discovery features.
• Manage technical debt and ensure code quality and documentation.
• Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders and project manager to communicate status.
• Ensure adherence to Harvard IT standards and security practices.
