Schneider Electric – Energy & Sustainability Software in Louisville, KY is seeking a Technology Lead for AI‑assisted development. You will build cloud‑based SaaS on Azure and drive high‑quality .NET Core services.

You will collaborate with architects and cross‑functional teams, apply AI coding assistants in the SDLC, and help shape best practices. The role emphasizes scalability, security, and sustainability impact.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with .NET Core, C#, Web API and modern application design.
• Strong understanding of architecture, design patterns, REST principles, and scalable systems.
• Experience with Azure and cloud‑native development.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server or NoSQL data stores.
• Familiarity with modern front‑end tech (Angular, TypeScript, HTML/CSS) is helpful but not required.
• Experience using AI coding assistants and a willingness to make them part of daily workflow.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and comfort in an agile team.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance SaaS applications used by global customers to track, analyze, and optimize energy and sustainability performance.
• Design and develop .NET Core–based services, APIs, integrations, and backend systems.
• Collaborate with architects and cross‑functional teams to design clean, scalable solutions.
• Use AI coding assistants throughout the SDLC—from design to code generation, testing, and documentation.
• Help shape best practices for AI‑assisted engineering, including prompt techniques and quality controls.
• Integrate and process sustainability data across systems and services.
• Build cloud‑ready, resilient solutions using Azure services (Functions, Service Bus, App Insights, Data Factory).
• Write maintainable, high‑quality C# code and participate in code reviews.
• Stay current with emerging tech and bring new AI tools into workflow.
