Las Vegas-Clark County Library District is seeking a part-time Computer Lab Assistant for the West Las Vegas Library to provide software assistance and basic support to patrons.

The role involves helping users, teaching equipment usage, and supporting library operations. The position requires a HS diploma, customer service experience, and familiarity with library technology; schedule includes two weekday shifts and 19 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• One year of user support or customer service in troubleshooting computer users or completion of at least one year of formal computer training/classes or Microsoft certifications.

Responsabilités

• Schedules customer use of computer lab equipment.
• Assists staff and customers with basic computer equipment and software usage.
• Provides instruction in library resources including printers, copiers, return machines, self-checks, scanners.
• Monitors library equipment for functionality and security.
• Helps plan and participate in outreach, computer classes, and library programming.
• Interacts with customers, staff, management, outside agencies, and other libraries via phone, in person, and email.
• Operates ILS and library resources including printers, copiers, return machines, self-checks, scanners.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
