Evergreen Park Public Library is seeking a positive, outgoing, and self-motivated individual to assist in the Computer Lab. You will engage with computer users, help with basic computer tasks, and support printers, scanners, and fax machines.

Candidates should be friendly, dependable, patient, and able to relate to patrons with varying levels of computer use. Hours are 12-18 per week, with a schedule including mornings, afternoons, early evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Familiarity with computers, smartphones, the Internet, and social media platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons with basic computer, Microsoft Office, and Internet tasks.
• Help users to use printers, scanners, and fax machines.
• Provide friendly, patient assistance and troubleshoot routine tech issues.
