Blackhawk Network offers a Technology Intern position for summer 2027. You will collaborate with software developers and architects to build large-scale data processing systems handling multi-billion-dollar transactions with precision.

The role spans streaming, DevOps, micro-services, and cloud infrastructure, with exposure to ML/AI and risk management. You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in STEM, with solid fundamentals and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Solid engineering fundamentals with strong algorithms and data structures.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's STEM program.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build stream-processing systems using Spark-Streaming.
• Develop DevOps pipelines and CI/CD for agile enterprise.
• Create large-scale transaction processing systems with REST, micro-services, Spark, Lambda, Kinesis, Elastic, AWS, and more.
• Develop Data and Analytics platforms applying ML/AI and Big Data techniques.
• Implement real-time risk and fraud detection systems.
• Build secure and scalable cloud infrastructure.
