Job summary

BNY Mellon invites high-potential undergraduate students to join the 2027 Summer Internship Program in Engineering (Data Science). The internship blends hands-on project work with exposure to our culture, platforms, and business impact, including mentoring and cross-team collaboration across data science and engineering functions.

Participants will gain experience in data analysis, feature engineering, and scalable analytics while developing practical skills in Python, JavaScript, Java, and CSS

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with focus on business/technology preferred.
• Graduating Dec 2027 or May 2028 (U.S.).
• Minimum GPA 3.0 or better.

Responsibilities

• Apply data science and analytical methods to solve real business and engineering problems.
• Analyze data, profile data, feature engineering, identify patterns and anomalies.
• Build and automate analytical processes, models, and tools for better decision-making.
• Partner with teams across engineering and business to translate data into recommendations.
