Job summary

Warren CAT is offering a Technician Intern program in Tulsa, OK, providing mentorship to develop the skills needed to become a Caterpillar Technician. You will work under a Warren CAT mentor to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Caterpillar engines and machinery, while following manuals and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher during the internship.
• Arrange for housing near the school campus and the local Warren CAT location if required.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Successfully complete the Work Steps assessment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Caterpillar Engines and Machinery.
• Utilize hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools, laptops, diagnostic software, cranes, and rigging equipment.
• Understand engines, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems and components.
• Adhere to service manuals and technical guidelines to ensure repairs meet Caterpillar standards and accurately document all service and repair activities.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements.
• Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies.
