Job summary

Warren CAT in Ardmore, OK is seeking a Product Health Technician to perform repairs and maintenance critical to the health of our machines.

You will diagnose, replace parts, test operations, and document work orders while following safety policies and procedures. This role requires a GED, 3-5 years of field experience, CDL, and CAT product knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3-5 years related experience.
• Certification or experience in air-conditioning and brakes.
• CDL and clean driving record; must be 21+ for field assignment.
• CAT product knowledge across diesel, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and diagnostic software.
• DOT physical may be required; ability to provide quotes to customers.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs to meet flat rate times and re-do metrics.

• Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules.

Job description

The Product Health Technician is responsible for performing certain repairs and maintenance critical to the health of the product.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Complete assigned jobs and tasks to meet flat rate times and re-do metrics.
• Work safely and follow all WCAT safety policies and procedures.
• Complete related paperwork and access databases required to complete job (work order, parts order, JSA, DBS, SIS web, STW) accurately and timely.
• Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations.
• Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, give recommendations for repairs and make all critical machine and engine repairs and adjustments.
• Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments.
• Apply general failure analysis and procedures to determines proper diagnosis.
• Perform safety and priority service letters issued by Caterpillar and or other manufactures, inspections required in our Planned Maintenance Program, and installation and repair of Product Link units.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 3-5 years of related experience and/or testing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certification and or experience in air-condition and brakes.
• Clean driving record and CDL for field assignment, must be at least 21 to be assigned and operate field vehicle
• Specific CAT product knowledge of diesel, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic systems and components.
• General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments, diagnostic software, cranes and rigging equipment.
• Requires the ability to provide accurate quotes and pricing estimates to the customer.
• May be required to complete a DOT physical.
• Successfully complete Work Steps assessment.
• Must have successfully completed all level II foundational assessment tests.
