Job summary

Material is seeking a Senior Associate of Insights to support day-to-day research for technology industry clients. The role is hybrid and based near Los Angeles, with options in Austin or New York City, and involves developing and publishing questionnaires, running analyses, and delivering high-quality insights.

You will collaborate with strategy and insights teams, manage fieldwork with internal teams, and contribute to deliverables with clear visuals and data QC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required preferably in Marketing, Business, Economics, Social Sciences, Psychology, Statistics, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of market research experience required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.

Responsibilities

• Support and own day-to-day needs of medium to high complexity research engagements.
• Publish questionnaires, test links, QC data, and manage fieldwork with internal teams/partners.
• Create deliverables including slide decks, charts, and data QC, with writing and synthesis involvement.
