Job summary

Abbott Laboratories is seeking an Operator II for our Minnetonka, MN site in the Electrophysiology division. The role involves assembly, welding, testing, and inspection of pacemaker-related devices under supervision. Candidates should have at least 2 years in manufacturing and be able to follow detailed procedures.

The position operates Monday–Thursday morning to early afternoon with potential overtime. You will maintain documentation, participate in continuous improvement, and adhere to safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in production, operations, or manufacturing.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, weld, x-ray, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, ICDs, leads, electronic systems, and related medical device assemblies.
• Follow SOPs and instructions, performing routine and some complex tasks under supervision.
• Maintain accurate records and traveler/quality documents for traceability.
• Participate in safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate issues clearly to manufacturing management in written and oral form.
