Job summary

Equinix in Tampa is seeking a Manager of FP&A to partner with Engineering Excellence, IT Security, Data & Analytics and Data Science. You will own forecasting, budgeting, KPI reporting, and strategic financial planning, translating technical plans into clear financial guidance.

The role requires strong modeling skills, experience with Hyperion Essbase, Anaplan and Oracle PPM, and proven ability to present to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or finance business partnering.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet modeling and financial systems including Hyperion Essbase, Anaplan, and Oracle PPM.
• Working knowledge of capitalization principles—Opex vs Prepaid Opex for internally developed software is a plus.
• Experience with AI-enabled financial analysis or automation of reporting workflows (Power BI, Anaplan) is a plus.
• Experience in technology, digital, or SaaS environments is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Excellent time management and ability to deliver across multiple workstreams.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Finance business partnership with Engineering Excellence, IT Security, Data & Analytics and Data Science—building relationships with functional leaders.
• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly reporting across full opex and capitalizable costs, including headcount and non-people costs.
• Perform actuals vs. forecast, actuals vs. budget, and year-over-year analyses with clear narratives for leadership.
• Develop business cases for tech investments with NPV, IRR, ROI, and payback analyses.
• Partner with Accounting on capitalization treatment and monthly allocations.
• Collaborate with HR to maintain accurate headcount forecasts and reconciliation.
• Manage purchase order governance with Accounting for monthly expense reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and AI-enabled automation.
• Deliver executive financial packages for CDIO and DIO leaders.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis across the DIO portfolio.
