Job summary

Nova Patient Care is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our tech-forward primary care team in Alexandria and Arlington, VA. You’ll enjoy extensive virtual support to minimize administrative tasks and focus on patient care in outpatient clinics.

We offer a 5-day schedule with no after-hours call, a robust benefits package, and a collaborative practice environment. Expect 18-24 patient days with flexible appointment slots and ongoing mentorship.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Virginia license (or eligibility to obtain).
• 1+ years of clinical practicing experience in primary care is required.
• Strong bedside manner, a relationship-based approach to care, and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope primary care to patients of all ages (newborns to geriatrics).
• Manage chronic conditions, women’s health needs, prevention and same-day sick visits.
• Perform standard outpatient procedures (e.g., I&Ds, suturing, Pap smears, cryotherapy).
• Collaborate with an extensive virtual administrative team and scribes to maximize patient care time.
