Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to be the face of our stores, helping customers select tech products and services. You’ll be trained to confidently recommend items that fit individual needs and to assist with demos and purchasing tasks.

You’ll welcome customers, perform demos, handle cashier duties, and keep the floor stocked. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is required to support busy store hours.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Willingness to learn products and assist with demos, questions and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with customers in a warm, friendly manner
• Perform product demos, answer questions and make recommendations that meet customers’ needs across all departments
• Complete cashier duties for purchases, returns and exchanges
• Maintain knowledge and expertise through ongoing learning and development
• Help keep the sales floor clean and well stocked
• Assist with in-store pickup and curbside pickup orders
