Altana is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst to partner with Altana’s Technology organization, spanning R&D, Implementation, Product, IT, and InfoSec. You will translate complex tech spend into clear GAAP-compliant insights and drive budgeting, procurement, and performance accountability.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of FP&A or finance business partnering with tech/ SaaS experience.
• Experience embedded with R&D, Engineering, or Product groups; AI exposure is a plus.
• Strong modeling skills and data-driven storytelling to executives.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly budget forecast, metrics, and variance reporting for Technology.
• Advise Tech leaders on investments using driver-based models and headcount analysis.
• Manage cloud infrastructure spend forecasting and cost attribution.
• Frame AI/LLM spend and report efficiency versus outcomes.
• Translate billing into GAAP entries and align with GL with Accounting teams.
• Lead procurement, renewals, and SaaS rationalization for the Tech org.
• Maintain board-ready technology scorecards and ROI views by pod.
• Track engineering ratios and craft executive narratives for stakeholders.
